NCALF-120 Course Description

This program is intended for those wishing to take the North Carolina Administrators Program. This program covers materials to aide in the management of an adult care home and is intended to prepare participant to take the state examination to become an Administrator of an Adult Care Home in North Carolina. 

This Program shall consist of at least (120) hours meeting the following requirements:

  • Minimum of (100) contact hours of on-the-job training in a facility setting under the supervision of an approved preceptor.
  • (20) twenty hours of instruction to include the an overview of the regulations and physical plant, human resources, organizational management, business, financial management and resident care
